CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS (CEC) PROGRAM

This is one of the Express entry programs and it is for skilled workers with Canadian work experience and who wants to become a Canadian permanent resident.

Minimum Requirements

The candidate must meet all the minimum requirements in order to be eligible. They must have a:

Proof of Language for English or French
  • CLB 7: TEER 0 or 1
  • CLB 5: TEER 2 or 3
  • Valid for 2 years after the date of the test result and on the day of application.
  • Enter the test results in Express entry profile
Canadian Work Experience
  • Full time: minimum of 1 year experience
  • Part time work: 2 years equivalent
  • Within 3 years before applying
  • Authorized to work if under temporary resident status
  • Performed all work in lead statement of the job description in NOC (National Occupational Classification)
  • Skilled work in TEER 0, 1, 2, 3
  • Must be for paid work
Proof of Funds: Not required
Education: Not required
Admissibility:
  • Must be allowed to enter Canada.
  • Applicant did not have risks for
  • Security
  • Criminal
  • Medical
INELIGIBILITY FOR CEC:
  • Refugee Claimants
  • Work without authorization
  • Experience without temporary residence status
  • Self-employed
  • Work while a Full time student including Co-op work
